Guys, note that there is small button on the back of the receiver the piece that connects to the camera body via the cable. I have a Canon 50D, and this works well on mine. I think that I should be able to just hold the button down with the switch in continuous mode to get continuous shutter release. The transmitter already had a battery fitted.

Could someone please lend a hand to what I'm doing wrong. It won't focus or release the shutter at all, the light just stays red. Lawrence I just bought this and can't get it to work, and since there are no instructions I don't know if I'm doing it right or not. It's attached to the top of the camera and plugged in. Easy to fit and then pop onto the camera 550D hot shoe and plug into the remote trigger socket on the side. I was struggling for two days though to get this thing running. Or you could contact the vendor and tell him you need the E3 connector, not the N3. I turn it on and when I press the wireless button both lights on remote and fitting turn green, then turn red. It all has a nice feel, although the quality is what you might expect for the price.
